Daniel Dayan was appointed Chair and Independent Non-Executive Director of Xaar plc on 14 October 2026. He also serves as Chair of the Nomination Committee and is a member of the Remuneration Committee.
Daniel brings more than 20 years of board-level leadership experience across listed and private industrial businesses, with a strong track record of guiding companies through growth, transformation and value creation. He has extensive experience as both an executive and non-executive director, having led global manufacturing and industrial organisations operating in international markets.
Daniel has served as Non-Executive Chair of Bodycote plc since 2022 and is also Non-Executive Chair of Watson Fuels and Aquaspersions Group. In addition, he sits on the boards of a number of private companies. His previous appointments include Non-Executive Director of Chemring plc, Chair of Low & Bonar plc, and Chief Executive Officer of both Fiberweb plc and LINPAC Group.
As Chair of Xaar, Daniel brings significant expertise in industrial technology, operational improvement, strategic development and corporate governance. His experience supports Xaar's focus on expanding the application of its inkjet technologies in advanced manufacturing, additive manufacturing and high-value industrial print markets.
